You have made the decision to buy a boat. First of all here is a definition of the word boat. It is a hole in the lake that you put money in. Inflatable boats offer another option for water fun. Inflatable boats store and transport easily and if you take care of them they will last for years.

Many senior citizens remember the times when vinyl was a product that was used for a short period of time. The first car seats made of vinyl lasted only a little while and the seat was destroyed before the car wore out. The sad part is many senior citizens would gain a lot from owning inflatable boats and letting their grandchildren use them.

Today vinyl is strong enough that it will last for year. If inflatable boats are taken care of properly they might last as long as you want to own inflatable boats. I pull my children and grandchildren around on an inflatable donut. Talk about abuse, the donut is pulled through the water as fast as it is safe and has lasted for years.

Just be careful where you store it. Inflatable boats make excellent material for the nest for mice or other rodents. This is one of the biggest risks with inflatable boats. There is a concern among some that inflatable boats could develop a leak in the middle of the lake. First of it is unlikely since they are made of tough material and double chambered. However, if taking one of your inflatable boats on a long voyage take the repair kit and pump along. You shouldn’t need them but will be more relaxed.

While running a resort in northern Minnesota, I observed inflatable boats used not only for fishing but as a raft for kids of all ages to dive off. They would anchor one or more inflatable boats, use a ladder and enjoy them for hours. The interesting thing is many of the inflatable boats’ older cousins stayed at the dock most of the week.

Think about the gain in physical fitness your loved ones get with inflatable boats. We spend thousands of dollars in health club dues yet seldom go there. The reason is it just isn’t that much fun working out. Inflatable boats will your loved ones burn energy and gain some physical fitness diving off the boat, swimming around it, climbing back on and rowing the inflatable boats back to shore. When they get home they might be more apt to keep up some form of physical fitness.

I am Gary Bimberg and prior to retirement I spent over 20 years in the vacation industry. Not only did I spend the time on the provider end but I also took a lot of vacations. Being part of the great outdoors has been part of my entire life. After retirement I started http://www.campingaccessoriescentral.com/ to provide people cost effective options to enjoy the great outdoors. Inflatable boats and kayaks were added at www.campingaccessoriescentral.com/kayaks/ to encourage family bonding and physical fitness. Contact me at support@campingaccessoriescentral.com or 612-578-2265 for additional information or with questions. One additional reason I added inflatable boats and kayaks to the website was to encourage family bonding. The family that plays together stays together.
